Hood Hold-Open Rod Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and suitably support the hood.




2. Remove the assist rod (1) from the hood rod pin (2).
3. Remove the hood rod pin (2) from the front fender (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the hood rod pin (2) to the front fender (3).
2. Install the assist rod (1) to the hood rod pin (2).
3. Lower the hood.
