Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (2 Door) (Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (2 Door))Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (4 Door) (Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (4 Door)).
2. Remove 6 screws that retain the rear bumper fascia brace and the impact bar to the fascia.
3. Remove the rear bumper fascia brace and the impact bar from the fascia.




4. Remove 2 bolts (2) that retain the rear bumper impact bar (1) to the rear bumper fascia brace.
5. Remove the rear bumper impact bar (1) from the rear bumper fascia brace.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the rear bumper impact bar (1) to the rear bumper fascia brace. Secure the impact bar with 2 bolts (2).

Tighten the bolts of the rear bumper impact bar to 45 Nm (33 lb ft).

2. Install the rear bumper fascia brace and the impact bar to the fascia. Secure the brace and the impact bar with 6 screws.
3. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (2 Door) (Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (2 Door))Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (4 Door) (Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (4 Door)).
