Radio Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the following connectors from the radio (2) through the instrument panel compartment:
^ The radio electrical connector
^ The antenna connector
2. Push down on the retainer, and remove the ashtray from the track.
3. Remove the following components from the instrument panel:
3.1. The 4 screws (1)
3.2. The center trim plate (3)




4. Remove the screw (1) from under the back of the radio. Access the screw through the ashtray opening in the instrument panel.
5. Remove 4 screws (1) from the front of the radio.
6. Remove the radio with the mounting bracket from the vehicle.
7 Remove the 5 screws and the 3 radio brackets from the radio, if necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the radio brackets to the radio, if necessary. Secure the brackets with the 5 screws.
2. Install the radio to the instrument panel. Secure the radio with 4 screws (1).
3. Install the screw (1) to the rear radio bracket. Access through the ashtray opening in the instrument panel.




4. Install the center trim plate (3) to the instrument panel. Secure the plate with the 4 screws (1).
5. Install the ashtray to the ashtray track.
6. Connect the following connectors. Access the following through the instrument panel compartment:
^ The radio electrical connector
^ The antenna connector
