Wiper Arm Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




IMPORTANT: Observe the location of the wiper arm. This will ensure correct installation.

1. Lift the plastic nut cover (2) in order to gain access to the rear wiper arm retaining nut.
2. Remove the wiper arm retaining nut.




3. Remove the wiper arm (5) from the wiper linkage (7).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.





1. Install the wiper arm (5) to the wiper linkage (7). Secure the wiper arm with the retaining nut.

Tighten
Tighten the wiper arm retaining nut to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).




2. Place the plastic nut cover (2) over the wiper arm retaining nut.
