Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement (Front)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the Front wheel.
3. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the retaining bolt.
5. Remove the front wheel speed sensor (1) from the steering knuckle (2).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the front wheel speed sensor (1) is properly aligned and lays flat against the bosses on the knuckle (2).
1. Install the front wheel speed sensor (1) to the steering knuckle (2).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the retaining bolt.
^ Tighten the retaining bolt to 10 Nm (86 inch lbs.).
3. Connect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
4. Install the Front wheel.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Perform the ABS Diagnostic System Check
