Installation Procedure

1. Install the Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor (3) in the vehicle. Ensure that the arrow is pointing toward the front of the vehicle.
2. Install the Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 5.5 N.m (49 lb in).

3. Connect the pigtail to the pigtail clips.
4. Connect the electrical connector (1) and the CPA (4).
5. Enable the SIR system.
