REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Open the rear compartment lid.
3. Reposition the rear compartment side trim in order to gain access to the tail lamp retaining nut.
4. Remove the 1 nut which secures the tail lamp (1).
5. Remove the 2 screws which secure the tail lamp (1).
6. Pull the tail lamp (1) away from the rear end panel in order to gain access to the sockets of the stop/tail lamp bulb (3).
7. Remove the stop/tail lamp socket from the tail lamp (1).
8. Remove the stop/tail lamp bulb (3) from the socket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the stop/tail lamp bulb (3) to the stop/tail lamp socket.
2. Install the stop/tail lamp socket to the tail lamp (1).
3. Install the tail lamp (1) to the vehicle. Secure the lamp with 2 screws and the retaining nut.
4. Position the rear compartment side trim back to it's original position.
5. Close the rear compartment lid.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
