License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following components from the rear bumper:
2.1. The 2 screws
2.2. The license plate lamp assembly (3)
3. Remove the license plate lamp bulb socket (1) from the lamp assembly (3).
4. Remove the license plate lamp bulb (2) from the socket (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the license plate lamp bulb (2) to the socket (1).
2. Install the license plate lamp bulb socket (1) to the lamp assembly (3).
3. Install the license plate lamp assembly (3) to the rear bumper. Secure the lamp assembly with the 2 screws.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
