Parking Lamps

GENERAL DESCRIPTI0N
The parking lamps are incorporated into the headlamp assembly. The parking lamp system contains 2 double filament bulbs. The parking lamp bulbs are shared with the turn signal.

The parking lamp lens is part of the composite headlamp assembly. The reflector alerts approaching vehicles for safe nighttime driving. The parking lamp bulbs light when you activate either of the following lamps:
^ The parking lamps
^ The headlamps

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The coil of the light 1 relay is supplied with voltage at all times. When you turn the light switch to the PARK/HEAD position, G201 supplies a ground path to the coil of the light 1 relay. When both power and ground are applied to the coil of the light 1 relay, the coil energizes and pulls the contacts closed. Voltage is applied through the tail fuse to all of the park lamps. When power and ground are supplied to the park lamps, the park lamps light.
