Door Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Pull the water deflector far enough away from the door in order to gain access to the lock cylinder.
3. Remove the lock rod from the lock cylinder (2).
4. Remove the retaining clip and the lock cylinder (2) from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the lock cylinder (2) to the door. Secure the cylinder with the retaining clip.
2. Install the lock rod to the lock cylinder (2).
3. Apply adhesive to the back of the water deflector.
4. Place the water deflector in its normal position.
5. Install the front door trim panel.
