Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Panel Replacement - Center

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the ashtray (7) from the ashtray guide by performing the following steps:
1.1. Depress the spring loaded tab.
1.2. Pull the ashtray (7) rearward.
2. Pull out the instrument panel compartment while pushing the stopper from both the right and the left sides.
3. Disconnect the cigar lighter electrical connector (2).




4. Remove the following components:
^ The 4 screws (1)
^ The IP center trim bezel (3)
5. Remove the cigar lighter, if necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the cigar lighter, if removed.
2. Install the IP center trim bezel (3). Secure the trim bezel with the 4 screws (1).




3. Connect the cigar lighter electrical connector (2).
4. Close the instrument panel compartment.
5. Slide the ashtray (7) into the ashtray guide until the spring loaded tab engages.
