Rear Door Panel: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Pull the rear door inner trim molding away from the rear door (2).
2. Remove the following components from the door:
^ One screw
^ The inside handle bezel (1)




3. Remove the regulator handle (1) by using a cloth in order to pull off the snap ring.




4. Remove the following components from the rear door trim (4):
^ Two screws
^ The inside pull handle case (5)
5. Gently pry the door trim (4) away from the door (1), disengaging the retaining clips.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the power window, if equipped.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector to the power window, if equipped.
2. Position the door trim (4) to the rear door (1).
3. Press the door trim retaining clips into place.
4. Install the pull handle case to the rear door trim (4). Secure the case with 2 screws.




5. Install the inside door handle bezel (1). Secure the bezel with the 1 screw.
6. Install the snap ring to the regulator handle (3).
7. Set the regulator handle (3) at a 45-degree angle when the window is fully closed.
8. Install the regulator handle (3) to the door.
9. Install the inner trim molding to the rear door (2).
