Radio Frequency Preset Buttons
The radio has 6 preset buttons. The buttons are numbered 1-6. The buttons permit you to preset 18 stations (6 AM and 12 FM: 6 FM1 and 6 FM2). In order to set a station preset button, perform the following steps:
1. Select the desired band (AM or FM).
2. Tune the radio to the desired station.
3. Press and hold the desired preset button for approximately 3 seconds. The sound will mute during this step.
4. When the sound resumes, release the button.
5. The button is now set to the desired station. The radio will now automatically tune to that pre-determined station whenever you press the button.
If power to the radio unit is interrupted, the preset buttons will lose their memory. If the buttons lose their memory, reset the preset buttons.
Preset buttons 2 and 5 control different functions when a CD is playing. Refer to Compact Disc (CD) Operation for details on these other functions. Compact Disc (CD) Player Operation
