Brake Pedal Assy: Description and Operation

A suspended-type brake pedal is used on this vehicle. The pedal pivots on a shaft mounted in the pedal support bracket under the instrument panel.

The brake pedal is a serviceable component. The pedal, pad, shaft, pedal shaft bushings, and bracket are all replaceable parts.
