Airbag Module Storage & Handling

The airbag module must be stored in its original special container until used for service. Additionally, it must be stored:
^ In a clean, dry environment.
^ Away from extreme heat.
^ Away from high voltage energy storage devices like arc welders and transformers.

Always place or store the module on a surface with the:
^ The driver airbag trim cover,
^ The passenger airbag clear plastic cover facing up to minimize movement in case of accidental deployment.
