Customer Safety Information

To ensure that the antilock brake system is functioning properly, have the system serviced promptly by an authorized dealer if any one of the following indications of a possible system malfunction occurs:

- If the Antilock Brake System (ABS) Warning Lamp is on, the brake system should be serviced as soon as possible to restore the benefits of antilock brakes.
- If the ABS Warning Lamp does not come on when the ignition switch is turned to the on position, have the light repaired promptly.

WARNING: Failure to have the anti-lock brake system properly serviced by an authorized dealer if one of the above conditions exists may lead to a possible accident during a braking situation.

The antilock brake system contains sophisticated electronic equipment that may be susceptible to interference caused by improperly installed or high output radio transmitting equipment. This interference can cause possible loss of antilock braking capacity. Installation of such equipment should be performed by qualified individuals.

An inspection of electrical and mechanical components should be included during the regular maintenance service schedule.
