Chart No. 7, Accelerator Switch Wiring Circuit A/T

The accelerator switch inputs the position of the accelerator pedal.
During constant speed driving, the accelerator pedal is not operational. The ground circuit for the accelerator switch is interrupted during constant speed driving. This is done so it won't interfere with the function of the automatic transaxle.
Measure control unit power supply voltage, terminal No. 3. Voltage should measure 12 volts at all times.
Measure accelerator switch voltage, terminal No. 9. With the accelerator pedal depressed, voltage should measure 0 volts. With the accelerator pedal at rest, voltage should measure 12 volts.
