HEATER HOSES REPLACEMENT

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Drain the cooling system.




2. Using the J 38185 loosen the clamp.
3. Remove the outlet surge tank hose from the heater hose assembly.




4. Using the J 38185 loosen the inlet (2) and outlet (1) hose clamps.
5. Remove the heater pipes.




6. Using the J 38185 loosen the heater hose inlet and outlet clamps.
7. Remove the hoses (1, 2) from the heater core.
8. Remove the hose assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the heater hose assembly into the vehicle.
2. Install the inlet and outlet hoses (1, 2) to the heater core.
3. Using the J 38185 reposition the clamp.




4. Install the surge tank outlet hose.
5. Using the J 38185 reposition the clamp.




6. Install the inlet (2) and outlet (1) hoses to the heater pipes.
7. Using the J 38185 reposition the clamps.
8. Fill the cooling system.
