Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center

Removal Procedure


Notice: To prevent component damage, DO NOT use metal tools to remove the trim.





1. Place protective tape between the Instrument Panel (IP) vinyl trim and the IP center trim panel.
2. Place protective tape between the IP center trim panel bottom edge and the top edge of the console trim plate.
3. Insert a plastic trim tool between the IP and the upper right corner of the center trim panel, ensure the trim tool is far enough in to engage the plastic substrate of the trim panel.
4. Working in a clockwise rotation, pry the trim panel outward in order to disengage the retainers.
5. Remove the trim panel.



Installation Procedure





1. Ensure the protective tape is still in place.
2. Align the retaining clips on the IP center trim panel with the openings in the IP.
3. Gently push inward in order to engage the retainer clips. DO NOT USE FORCE!
4. Remove the protective tape.
