Rear Door Window Glass: Service and Repair



Window Replacement - Rear Door

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the window all the way down.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door Service and Repair
3. Remove the door module.
4. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the window inner belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner (Service and Repair) .
6. Remove the window outer belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .




7. Loosen the window regulator to window clamps.
8. Remove the window by lifting up and out.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the window down into the door assembly making sure the window is in the run channels.
2. Locate the window into the two window regulator to window clamps.
3. Install the window outer belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
4. Install the window inner belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner (Service and Repair) .

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice In Cautions and Notices.

5. Connect a power source to the window motor and run the window to the full up position.

Tighten the window clamp fasteners to 11 N.m (98 lb in).

6. Install water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the door module.
8. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door Service and Repair
