Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

AIR CONDITIONING (A/C) REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front air deflector.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor (1).
3. Remove the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Lubricate the O-ring with 525 refrigerant oil.

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Install the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor (1).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor.
4. Install the front air deflector.
