Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the tilt steering column to the lowest position.




2. Pry out in order to remove the ignition cylinder bezel (1).
3. Remove the left IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel (IP) Outer Trim Cover Replacement (Instrument Panel (IP) - Outer Trim Cover Replacement) .
4. Remove the IP center trim plate. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - IP Center (Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Panel Replacement - Center) .
5. Remove the drivers side knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Remove the right IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory Right (Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Right Side) .




7. Remove the push pin fasteners that retain the top IP cluster trim cover to the IP.
8. Remove the left IP air deflector. Refer to Deflector Replacement - Instrument Panel Air - Left (Deflector Replacement - Instrument Panel Air - Left) .




9. Remove the fasteners that retain the IP cluster trim plate to the IP.
10. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
11. Remove the IP cluster trim plate from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the IP cluster trim plate to the vehicle.
2. Connect the electrical connectors.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the fasteners that retain the IP cluster trim plate to the IP.

Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).





4. Install the top IP cluster trim cover and push pin fasteners.
5. Install the left IP air outlet vent. Refer to Deflector Replacement - Instrument Panel Air - Left (Deflector Replacement - Instrument Panel Air - Left) .
6. Install the right IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory Right (Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Right Side) .
7. Install the drivers side knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Service and Repair) .
8. Install the IP center trim plate. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - IP Center (Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Panel Replacement - Center) .
9. Install the left IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel (IP) Outer Trim Cover Replacement (Instrument Panel (IP) - Outer Trim Cover Replacement) .




10. Install the ignition cylinder bezel (1).
