Bracket Replacement - IP End

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Remove the IP carrier. Refer toIP Carrier Replacement (Instrument Panel (IP) - Carrier Replacement) .




3. Remove the fasteners from the IP end bracket to the hinge pillar.
4. Remove the IP end bracket.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the IP end bracket to the hinge pillar.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the fasteners in order to secure the IP end bracket to the hinge pillar.

Tighten the fasteners to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

3. Install the IP carrier. Refer toIP Carrier Replacement (Instrument Panel (IP) - Carrier Replacement) .
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
