CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The sunload sensor assembly is a light sensitive photocell. The HVAG control module determines the ambient light based on the voltage from the sunload sensor assembly. The HVAC control module controls the head lamp automatic on/off and delayed off functions.

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
The IPM is powered.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The sun load sensor voltage is less than 0.09 or greater than 4.75 volts.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
Sets the variable sun load light status to DARK.
The IPM sets a DTC.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
The IPM does not detect a voltage that is less than or greater than the predetermined value during the diagnostic self test.
