Automatic Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Left

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the left front tire and wheel.
3. Remove the left inner splash shield.
4. Install a jack stand under the left side of the transmission in order to support the powertrain.
5. Remove the left mount.
6. Remove the nut four attaching bolts from the side cover.
7. Remove the mount bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the left mount bracket on to the case side cover.
^ Tighten the bracket bolts to (110 Nm to (81 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the left mount.
3. Using the jack stand, raise the powertrain and load the mount.
4. Install the mount stud nut onto the mount stud.
^ Tighten the mount stud nut to 70 Nm (51 ft. lbs.)
5. Remove the jack stand.
6. Install left front splash shield.
7. Install the left front tire and wheel.
8. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
