Shutoff Outlet Pipe - Single Pump

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve. Refer to Secondary AIR Injection Control Valve Replacement - Bank I (Dual pump system) or Secondary AIR Injection Control Valve Replacement - Bank 1 (Single pump system).
2. Remove the 2 nuts securing the shut-off valve to the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe
3. Remove the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe and new gasket to the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the 2 nuts securing the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe to the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve.

Tighten
Tighten the 2 nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Install the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve. Refer to Secondary AIR Injection Control Valve Replacement - Bank 1 (Dual pump system) or Secondary AIR Injection Control Valve Replacement - Bank 1 (Single pump system).
