Fuel Pressure Test Port: Service and Repair

FUEL PRESSURE CONNECTION VALVE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure.
2. Remove the fuel pressure connection valve (2) using a standard valve core removal and installation tool.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the fuel pressure connection valve assembly (2) using a standard valve core removal and installation tool.
2. Connect the negative battery cable.
3. Inspect for fuel leaks.
3.5. Turn ON the ignition switch for 2 seconds.
3.5. Turn OFF the ignition switch for 10 seconds.
3.5. Turn ON the ignition switch.
3.5. Inspect for fuel leaks.
4. Install the cap (3) on the fuel pressure connection valve.
5. Install the fuel injector sight shield.
