Rear Side Door Window Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Remove the inner belt sealing strip.
4. Remove the outer belt sealing strip.
5. Remove the window to window regulator bolts (1,2).
6. Remove the rear door window.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the rear door window.
1.1. Position the window to the door between the inner and the outer panels.
1.2. Point the lower front corner of the window down and pass the window through the belt opening.
1.3. Align the edges of the door window with the door window weatherstrip.
1.4. Turn the rear door window to a horizontal position and align the holes in the window with the holes in the regulator.
Ensure that the window clips are seated on the regulator carrier plate.

IMPORTANT: Install the forward bolt first bolt.

2. Install the rear door window to the rear door window regulator bolts (1, 2).

Tighten
Tighten the window to regulator bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

IMPORTANT: Ensure that both sealing lips on the outer belt sealing strip are not rolled over and pointing downwards. If this condition is present the rear door window will not raise properly.

3. Install the window inner belt sealing strip.
4. Install the outer belt sealing strip.
5. Install the water deflector.
6. Install the door trim panel.
