Rear Side Door Stationary Window Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the rear door inner trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Remove the inner belt sealing strip.
4. Remove the outer belt sealing strip.
5. Lower the door window as low at possible in the door opening.
6. Remove the two screws (1) (2) attaching the window to the regulator.




7. Slide the window glass down to the bottom of the door while keeping it in the front weatherstrip channel.
8. Partially remove the rear door window weatherstrip from the channel between the door glass and the stationary window and part way across the top of the window.
9. Remove the stationary window screws.




10. Remove the stationary window bolt.
11. Rotate and remove the stationary window from the rear door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the stationary window in the rear door.
2. Make sure that the rear window is in the channel of the stationary window.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the rear door stationary window bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the rear door stationary window bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the rear door stationary window screws.

Tighten
Tighten the rear door stationary window screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




5. Slide the rear door window up from the bottom of the door keeping it in the channels.
6. Install the bolts attaching the window to the regulator.

Tighten
Tighten the window to regulator bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

7. Check the window movement using the regulator motor.
8. Install the door window weatherstrip.




9. Install the door outer belt sealing strip.
10. Install the door inner belt sealing strip.
11. Install the door water deflector.
12. Install door inner trim panel.
13. Raise the rear door window to the full up position.
