Weatherstrip Retainer Replacement - Front Door

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the outside rear view mirror.
2. Remove the glass run channel in area of weatherstrip retainer.
3. Pull the window weatherstrip retainer from the door by using a small flat-bladed tool to release the clip retainers while pulling the weatherstrip upward.
4. Remove the window weatherstrip retainer from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Inspect the plastic clip retainers for damage prior to reinstallation of the window weatherstrip retainer.
Replace any damaged plastic clip retainers.




1. Align the window weatherstrip retainer to the door.
2. Install the window weatherstrip retainers. Press down until the plastic clip retainers are fully seated.
3. Install the glass run channel in the area of the weatherstrip retainer.
4. Install the outside rearview mirror.
