Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Lower the front door window.
2. Remove the inner trim panel.
3. Remove the water deflector.
4. Remove the outside rearview mirror.
5. Remove the inner belt sealing strip.
6. Remove the outer belt sealing strip.
7. Pull the window weatherstrip from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Lubricate the vertical window channels with the soap and the water.




1. Install the window weatherstrip, start in the rear corner and position the weatherstrip in both directions.
Press the window weatherstrip into the vertical window channel until the window weatherstrip is fully seated.
2. Raise the window to ensure the window is positioned properly in the front door window weatherstrip.
3. Install the outer belt sealing strip.
4. Install the inner belt sealing strip.
5. Install the outside rearview mirror.
6. Install the water deflector.
7. Install the inner trim panel.
