Displaying & Reading Trouble Codes - Variable Effort Steering (VES)

Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read through the use of a scan tool. There are no provisions for flash code diagnostics. If Antilock Brake System DTCs are also present, repair those malfunctions first. Refer to A Diagnostic System Check - ABS in Antilock Brake System.
