Rear Compartment Lid Switch Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel steering column opening filler.
2. Remove the screws from the switch bank.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel door/trunk lid switch.
4. Remove the fuel door/trunk lid switch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the fuel door/trunk lid switch.
2. Connect the electrical connectors to the fuel door/trunk lid switch.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the screws to the switch bank.

Tighten
Tighten the switch bank screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the steering column opening filter.
