Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Pad Replacement - Upper

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the windshield garnish molding.

IMPORTANT: Remove the instrument panel upper trim panel slowly, the retainer clips could possibly fall into the instrument panel.

2. Lift the instrument panel upper trim panel up approximately 51 mm (2 in) and pull rearward to release instrument panel upper trim panel retainers.




3. Remove the daytime running lamp ambient light sensor.
4. If equipped. Remove the sun load sensor.
5. Remove the instrument panel upper trim panel from the instrument panel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Align the instrument panel upper trim panel locating pins and the retainers to the slots in the instrument panel.




2. Install the daytime running lamp ambient light sensor.
3. If equipped. Install the sun load sensor.
4. Push forward and down on the instrument panel upper trim panel to lock into place.
5. Install the windshield garnish molding.
