Console Replacement - Front Floor

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the front floor console trim plate.
2. Disconnect the required electrical connectors.
3. Remove the bolts/screws from the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear of the transaxle shift lever.
4. Open the front floor console armrest.
5. Remove the mat from the front floor console storage compartment.
6. Remove the bolts/screws from the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear storage compartment base.
7. Remove the bolts/screws from the front floor console mounting at the front mounting point.
8. Pull the front floor console rearward, up and out.
9. Remove the front floor console from the floor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Align the front floor console to the floor.
2. Connect the required electrical connectors.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the bolts/screws to the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear of the storage compartment base.

Tighten
Tighten the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear of the storage compartment base bolts/screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

4. Install the bolts/screws to the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear of the transaxle shift lever.

Tighten
Tighten the front floor console mounting bracket at rear of the transaxle shift lever bolts/screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

5. Install the bolts/screws to the front floor console a the front mounting point.

Tighten
Tighten the front floor console at the front mounting point bolts/screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

6. Install the mat to the front floor console storage compartment.
7. Install the front floor console trim plate.
8. Close the front floor console armrest.
