Front Door Molding Contacts Rear Door When Closing (Replace Molding)

1998-99 Oldsmobile Intrigue

Condition

Some customers may comment that the molding at the top rear portion of the front door comes in contact with the rear door.

Cause

The black rubber portion of the reveal molding may not be staked to the molding which allows the molding to move backwards during door closings.

Correction

Replace the molding. Refer to the Doors sub-section of the appropriate service information.
