Inside Air Temperature Sensor Description

Inside Air Temperature Sensor:

The inside air temperature sensor is a temperature-sensitive resistor.

A hose that is connected to the inside of the air temperature sensor continually draws passenger compartment air over the sensor. This increases the accuracy of the temperature reading.

The heater and A/C programmer monitors the inside temperature signal. The heater and A/C programmer uses this information in order to determine the command signals.
