REMOVAL PROCEDURE

^ Tools Required
- J6627-A Stud Remover

1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the wheel and tire.
3. Remove the brake caliper and caliper support.
4. Remove the rotor.





5. Use the J6627-A in order to press out the stud (1).
6. Remove the stud at the innermost notch in the knuckle, on the caliper side of the knuckle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install a new stud. Use washers (1) and wheel nuts (2).
2. Install the rotor.
3. Install the caliper and caliper support.
Tighten the caliper bolts to 51 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the wheel and tire.
Tighten the wheel nuts to 140 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).

5. Lower the vehicle.
