HVAC System - Manual
The passenger climate control consists of a rotary potentiometer with 7 positions. The control assembly communicates with the heater and A/C programmer by varying an analog voltage.
Turning the knob to the right or to the left causes the system to begin operating in the DUAL ZONE mode. The passenger may raise or lower the passenger side discharge air temperature by turning the knob in the appropriate direction.
Greater sun load on one side of the vehicle may cause the discharge air temperatures to be different even when the system is not operating in DUAL ZONE mode.
