Brake Proportioning/Combination Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Locate the proportioning valve under the vehicle.
2. Remove the proportioning valve from the brake line.
3. Plug the brake lines to prevent excess fluid loss.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the proportioning valve into the brake line.
^ Tighten the proportioning valve fittings to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)

2. Bleed the brake system as necessary.
