Door Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Remove the handle rod from the latch.
4. Disconnect the rod from the cylinder.
5. Remove the bolts from the handle.
6. Remove the handle.
7. Pry off the lock clip (1) in order to remove the cylinder (2) from the handle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the cylinder (2) to the handle. Hold the cylinder in place with the clip (1).
2. Install the handle to the door.
3. Install the bolts to the handle.
4. Install the handle rod to the latch.
5. Connect the rod to the cylinder.
6. Install the water deflector.
7. Install the trim panel.
