Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fasteners (1) from the sound insulator to IP lower.
2. Remove the courtesy lamp (3) from sound insulator by twisting a quarter turn counter-clockwise.
3. Pull the sound insulator (2) rearward and remove from vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the courtesy lamp to the sound insulator (2) by twisting clockwise a quarter turn.
2. Raise the sound insulator up to the IP lower.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the sound insulator fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
