Rear Body Mount Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tires and the wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
3. Use a block of wood at least seven inches long in order to support the exhaust and the rear of the support assembly.
4. Remove the four exhaust hangers.





5. Remove the two rear support assembly bolts and lower the support assembly and exhaust together.
6. Remove the two bolts and the rear body mount.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the rear body mount and the two bolts ensuring that OUT is toward the outboard of the vehicle.
Tighten the rear body mount bolts to 51 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Raise and support the assembly and the exhaust.
3. Install the two bolts that secure the support assembly to the body of the vehicle.
Tighten the bolts to 191 Nm (141 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the four exhaust hangers
5. Install the tires and the wheels.
Tighten the wheel nuts to 140 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower the vehicle.
