Procedures

The mechanical components of the door are lubricated during assembly. If additional lubrication is necessary, use the following lubricants:
^ Use Multi-purpose Lubricant GM P/N 12345120 or synthetic SAE 5W-30 engine oil on door lock cylinders.
^ Use SAE 30 engine oil on door hinge pins and rollers at normal service intervals.
^ Use Lubriplate Spray-Lube A GM PIN 1052349 or Lubriplate Spray-Lube A GM P/N 1052196 on the remainder of all of the door hardware mechanisms, except lock assemblies.
