Random (Rdm)

The RDM (random) push-button is a momentary-contact control. The RDM button serves a dual function with a radio preset button number 5. Press the RDM button in the CD play mode stops playing the current selection. The CD player then chooses a random playback order then resumes the play in a random order. Press the RDM button at any point during random playback to return to the normal sequence beginning with the current track. For remote CD player options, the RDM feature operates between the tracks on all of the available discs.
