Fast Forward (FWD)

The FWD (fast forward) button is a non-latching momentary contact control and serves a dual function with radio preset button number 2. The button allows forward movement within the CD. When activated, the audio level reduces by 6 dB and the CD plays in the forward direction at a rate of 6 times normal speed.
