Front Fender

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

NOTE: When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent damage.

Fender Replacement: Front - Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the hood hinge.
2. Remove the front fender liner.
3. Remove the washer solvent container.
4. Remove the rocker panel molding.
5. Remove the fender to door hinge pillar bolts.

Fender Replacement: Front - Removal Procedure:

6. Remove the fender to rocker panel bolts.

Fender Replacement: Front - Removal Procedure:

7. Remove the fender to front compartment side rail bolts.

Fender Replacement: Front - Removal Procedure:

8. Remove the fender to lower engine compartment side rail bolts.
9. Remove the fender from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Fender Replacement: Front - Installation Procedure:

1. Install the fender to the vehicle
2. Install the fender to front compartment side rail bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the fender to front compartment side rail bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

Fender Replacement: Front - Installation Procedure:

3. Install the fender to rocker panel bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the fender to rocker panel bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

Fender Replacement: Front - Installation Procedure:

4. Install the fender to door hinge pillar bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the fender to door hinge pillar bolts to 10 N.m (89 bin).

Fender Replacement: Front - Installation Procedure:

5. Install the fender to lower engine compartment side rail bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the fender to lower engine compartment side rail bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

6. Install the rocker panel molding.
7. Install the washer solvent container.
8. Install the front fender liner.
9. Install the hood hinge.
