A/T Mount Replacement (Rear Mount)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

^ Tools Required
- J 28467-360 Universal Support Fixture
- J 28467-94 Engine Support Fixture Adapters
- J 28467-330 Engine Support Adapters
- J 28467-350 Engine Support Fixture Adapter





1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle. Refer to General Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in Service Precautions.
2. Install the jack stand in order to support the powertrain.
3. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Wheel Removal in Tires and Wheels.
4. Remove the nuts attaching the mount bracket to the mount.
5. Remove the bolts attaching the mount bracket to the transmission.





6. Remove the bolts attaching the left-side mount to the frame. Then, remove the mount.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the mount to the frame. Install the bolts.
^ Tighten the mount bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the bracket and the bolts to the transmission.
^ Tighten the bracket-to-transmission bolts to 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the nuts that secure the brace to the mount.
^ Tighten the bracket-to-mount nuts to 40 Nm (29 ft. lbs.).

4. Install the left tire and wheel. Refer to Wheel Installation in Tires and Wheels.
5. Remove the jack stand.
6. Lower the vehicle.
