This bulletin is being issued to revise the location for grounds G101 (G-Car) and G102 (E/K-Car) in Sections 8A-200 and 8A-201 of the Service Manual.
The following pages are affected:
G-101 (G-Car)
^ On Page 8A-201-13, replace Figure 26 with the attached Figure 1 which shows the correct location of G101 for VIN C vehicles.
^ On Page SA-200-14, replace the text for G101 "Right hand rear of the engine, near the right hand axle shaft" with the following correct location "Left hand side of the engine compartment, on the engine, beneath the EGR Valve."
^ On Pages 6-1099 and 7-253, replace the text for G101 "Right hand rear of the engine, near the right hand axle shaft" with the following correct location "Left hand side of the engine compartment, on the engine, beneath the EGR Valve."
G102 (E/K-Car)
^ On Page 8A-201-19, replace Figure 37 with the attached Figure 2 which shows the correct location of G102.
^ On Page SA-200-19, replace the text for G102 "Lower right hand rear of the engine, near the power steering rack" with the following correct location "Left hand side of the engine compartment, on the engine, beneath the EGR Valve."
^ On Pages 6-304 and 7-25, replace the text for G102 "Lower right hand rear of the engine, near the power steering rack" with the following - correct location "Left hand side of the engine compartment, on the engine, beneath the EGR Valve."
