Odometer: Service and Repair

Odometer/Mileage Label:

If an odometer and/or instrument cluster has been serviced, repaired or replaced and can not register the same mileage as before it was removed, the replacement odometer must be set to 0 and odometer/mileage label attached to the left front door frame.

The label must be filled out with the actual miles and date, and be signed by authorized personnel. A copy must be retained in compliance with the retention requirements specified in the Guidelines for General Motors Odometer Policy.

Installation
1. Clean area around the left front door frame where label is to be attached. Label area is to be clean and free from plastisol or any other foreign material which could affect adhesion of the label.
2. Remove backing from label and attach to left front door frame.
